Description SHIFT: Day JobSCHEDULE: Full-timeManager Audit and ReimbursementPreferred office locations would be: Indianapolis, IN; Richmond, VA; Syracuse, NY; and South Portland, ME. We are open to any Anthem office and potentially open to work from home.This job is assigned to any Government Business Division entity the applicant and incumbent fall under a 'sensitive position' work designation and may be subject to additional requirements beyond those associates outside Government Business Divisions. Requirements include but are not limited to more stringent and frequent background checks and/or government clearances segregation of duties principles role specific training monitoring of daily job functions and sensitive data handling instructions. Associates in these jobs must follow the specific policies procedures guidelines etc. as stated by the Government Business Division in which they are employed. The use of this job is limited to the National Government Services business unit. Supports multiple Medicare Administrative Contracts. This position will have 20-25 direct reports. Primary duties may include but are not limited to:

Develops budgets and monitors the achievement of goals including CMS QASP and CPE requirements.

Develops and monitors procedures and internal control systems in response to Medicare regulations and requirements.

Coordinates overall effort with CMS Outside Auditors and Internal Auditors.

Monitors the adherence to SOP's for the audit and reimbursement areas.

Conducts at a minimum monthly communication meetings with direct reports.

May include management responsibilities at multi-site locations.

Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Qualifications

Requires a BS/BA degree preferably in accounting; at least 8-10 years significant auditing and/or accounting experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

CPA/MBA preferred.

Management experience preferred. Must obtain Continuing Education Training requirements.

A valid driver's license and the ability to travel up to 15%.

Medicare background is preferred.

Ability to manager 20-25 direct reports.
