Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead corporate HR strategy for the company
  • Lead ongoing organization development and change management initiatives
  • Train, develop and manage incoming HR Specialists and HR Managers
  • DevelopHRpolicies and provide guidance and interpretation for both corporate and project-related issues
  • Provide guidance and support to HR managers at various contract facilities across the U.S.
  • Lead corporate communications of HR-related topics
  • Design talent sourcing and standardize interview processes and protocols
  • Provide employee onboarding systems
  • Design and manage employee training and development initiatives
  • Manage employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors
  • Develop and maintain performance management and improvement systems
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulatory guidelines and directives
  • Advise managers on employee relations issues
  • Maintain knowledge of employment law, best practices, trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources
  • Maintainoccupational health and safety standards
  • Employ strategies for employee morale and increased employee satisfaction
  • Develop surveys to measure employee satisfaction
  • Employ strategies to increase retention and decrease turnover

Qualifications

Education and Skills/Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree inHRor a business-related field required
  • 5+ years relatedsenior level HRexperience required
  • SHRM certification(s) highly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • High degree of emotional intelligence and ability to effectively handle stressful situations
  • Flexible with travel up to 30% of the time
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office platforms
