No matter your role, you will be part of a team that is building the future of agriculture – leading breakthroughs in the innovation and application of science and technology that will better the lives of people all over the world and fuel the progress of humankind.We an opportunity to hire a Senior Research Scientist to support crop protection chemical metabolism and toxicokinetic studies within the Metabolism and Toxicokinetic group at the Haskell R&D Center located in Newark, Delaware. You will provide technical leadership and oversee the conduct and interpretation of discovery and regulatory toxicokinetic and metabolism studies in support of safety assessment of crop protection products.Responsibilities:How will you help us grow? Design, conduct, interpret and report results for discovery (non-GLP) and regulatory (GLP) studies in toxicokinetics or ADME (absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion) to advance the crop protection chemical discovery and registration pipelines.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior scientific staff.

Provide subject matter expertise for the ADME sciences within the Global Human Health Sciences function on discovery and development project teams.

Communicate findings to business and scientific audiences, through both oral presentations and written technical reports and manuscripts.

QualificationsRequirements:What expertise have you grown? What do you bring to the table?

Ph.D. in pharmacokinetics, toxicology or related area with at least three years of relevant experience.

Demonstrated experience and expertise in in vitro and in vivo ADME studies.

Thorough knowledge and expertise in mammalian metabolism, clearance mechanisms, absorption and toxicokinetics/pharmacokinetics.

Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities to manage and coordinate multiple projects and chemistries in a timely and effective manner.

Strong written and oral communication skills that allow dissemination of complex technical issues in a clear, concise manner to a variety of scientific and non-scientific audiences.

Preferences:

Experience in working in a GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) environment.

Experience working safely with radioactivity, including carbon-14.

Experience using commercial pharmacokinetic and PBPK modeling software (e.g. Phoenix® WinNonlin®, GastroPlus®).
