Credit Risk Middle Office

(CRMO) supports the credit approval and decision making processes for Credit

Risk Management (CRM). CRMO is actively involved in the review of credit

data and risk metrics in addition to identifying trends and issues which may

impact the bank’s ability to manage credit risk.The purpose of Credit Risk

Middle Office is to establish and maintain a common approach to controls and

operational workflows across the risk management infrastructure in support of

Corporate Investment Bank. Credit Risk Middle Office provides operational support

for Credit Risk Management which includes the following functions:

Rules BasedFunds processing incorporates reviewing client/fund documentation to analyzeand make subjective decisions that determine JPM’s internal risk grade and NetAsset Value Gathering

Creating,amending and cancelling credit facilities.

SupportCredit Officers with annual credit due diligence and ensure proposed facilitiesare processed correctly

Exceptionsmonitoring from an operational control/data quality perspective

Investigationand resolution of overlimits, unlinked and ungraded credit exposure

Reportingto identify issues/patterns and allow for efficient management of largeportfolios

A team member in CRMO is

expected to deliver on the following specific tasks and requirements:Descriptionof Responsibilities:

Provideoperational support for CRM by performing various functions including linefacilitation/maintenance, client data management, over lines monitoring and NAVgathering/monitoring

Toensure accuracy performing BAU related activities / tasks and non-disclosure ofclient information by preserving client confidentiality

Tomanage workflow for tasks, queries, and issues using various Credit ownedsystems (i.e. ICRD, RBRM, Workflow,etc.)

Toachieve daily, weekly and monthly volume targets

Ensureadherence to SLA’s, internal metrics & firm wide policies

Ensurework is completed to the highest standards and seek opportunities to identifyareas for process improvements and added controls

Partnerwith CRMO onshore and offshore teams in EMEA, NA, and Asia regions

Participatein UAT (user acceptance testing) on enhancements and changes to CRMOsystems; including analyzing the impact of enhancements on CRMO reporting

Followand assist with the maintenance of standard operational procedures

Anticipateand understand issues, and escalate appropriately for timely resolution.

Participationin process improvements and automation/enhancements to current activities /tasks

Otherduties as assigned

BA or BS degree or 1-3 years of work experience in service oroperations functions

Strong skills / knowledge of MS Office Products (e.g. Excel,Outlook, etc.)

Strong analytical, prioritization and organizational skills

Solid communication and interpersonal skills

Team player with ability to work with colleagues in a collaborativemanner, as well as ability to manage prioritization

Flexible; ability to work as needed in order to meet businessdemands

Able to work accurately and effectively under pressure

Effective time management skills

Client focus and Customer care working practices

Controls Focused

Prior experience working in a middle office or back-office team aplus

Basic knowledge of investment banking products preferable, but notrequired
