Carpenter Apprentice = $12/hr - $15/hr. This is an entry level position.

Summary: To provide assistance to the carpenter mechanic and carpenter assistant on the job

site with various assigned tasks by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Under the direction of the Carpenter Mechanic, assists with gathering necessary

materials, tools, etc. for jobs and repairs. Read job scope daily.

2. Operates equipment in accordance with safety regulations/maintains clean and organized

work area.

3. Installation of general dust protection controls as standard.

4. Loads and unloads work truck with all needed tools and supplies daily.

5. Communicates with carpenter mechanic to clarify work order information.

6. Assist with painting of surfaces as required.

7. Build scaffolding if needed. Work off of scaffolding and/or ladders.

8. Holds timbers, lumber, and paneling in place for fastening or cutting.

9. Adheres to established policies and procedures while paying special attention to safety

regulations.

Carpenter Assistant = $16/hr - $20/hr. The position is for a person that has a moderate level of carpentry experience with their own basic tools and truck

Summary: Assists in the rough and finish carpentry work construction as assigned by

carpenter mechanic repairing residential structures by performing the following duties and tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Performs carpentry tasks under the direction of the carpenter mechanic in an efficient

manner. Read job scope daily.

2. Assists with gathering and carrying tools/materials to perform repairs.

3. Performs general dust protection control duties to protect work area.

4. Installs cabinets and countertops.

5. Cuts and installs insulation, drywall, trim, and shelving.

6. Communicates with carpenter mechanic to clarify work order information.

7. Finish drywall or plaster “ ready for paint

8. Build scaffolding if needed. Work off of scaffolding and/or ladders.

9. Operates equipment/tools including but not limited to circular saw, drill, nail gun, etc. (in

accordance with safety regulations)

10. Holds timbers, lumber, and paneling in place for fastening or cutting.

11. Set doors and frames.

12. Detach and reset lighting figures.

13. Minor roofing repairs.

14. Assists with general framing duties, cutting timbers and lumber to specified dimensions

and installations.

15. Assist in the plumbing and installation of toilets fixture hook-up.

16. Perform painting duties as assigned.

17. Installation of siding and exterior finishes.

18. Maintains clean and organized work area.

19. Adheres to established policies and procedures while paying special attention to safety

regulations.

Carpenter Mechanic = $20/hr - $26/hr. This position is for an Experienced Carpenter that has their own tools and truck.

Job Summary: Responsible for the full range of rough and finished skilled carpentry work, including

managing Assistant Carpenters and Carpenter Apprentices in the repair of various types of residential

structures per the scope of work.

Duties &Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Daily job updates/Communication with Project Manager. Read job scope daily.

2. Procurement of necessary materials for job.

3. Read, interpret and perform necessary work associated with blue prints and/or engineer's report

4. Procurement of necessary materials for job.

5. Completes material budget tracking during the job.

6. Keep job sites clean and organized.

7. Face to face communication with customer about job progress.

8. Take progress photos on camera when needed

9. Installation of general dust protection controls on work sites.

10. Cut and install insulation, drywall, trim and shelving.

11. Install cabinets and countertops.

12. Finish drywall or plaster - ready for paint

13. Build scaffolding if needed. Work off of scaffolding and/or ladders.

14. General framing. Cut timber and lumber to specified dimensions and assist in installation.

15. Operates equipment/tools including but not limited to circular saws, drills, nail guns, etc. (in

accordance with safety regulations)

16. Set doors and frames and install paneling.

17. Installs toilets and plumbing fixture hook up (light plumbing).

18. Detach and reset of lighting fixtures (light electrical)

19. Perform minor roofing repairs

20. Installation of siding and exterior finishes

21. Painting of surfaces as required

22. Inspect completed work for conformance by sub-contractors with specifications requirements and

compliance with applicable building and safety codes and regulations.

23. Meet with local building inspectors for required inspections

Qualifications:

Education/Experience: High school education/2 year technical education and up to five years related

construction experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

and other employees of the organization.

Skills/Requirements:

Excellent Customer Service Skills

Ability to operate equipment and tools

Valid Driver License

Rotating 24 hour emergency response schedule

Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory Skills

CDL (may be required)

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common

fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral

instructions.
