Tidewater Direct is seeking hard working, intelligent experienced cutter operators to our night shift bindery crew. The ideal candidate has experience operating a guillotine style cutter. The bindery is responsible for cutting and folding high volumes of paper, using high speed machines, for direct mail. Our night shift is from 7:00pm to 7:00am three days a week. The shifts are rotating shifts from Mon, Tues, Wed to Thurs, Fri, Sat. The rotation occurs every four weeks. Any applicant must be available to work all shifts.
The position requires good energy, ability to follow directions and pay close attention, and basic math. Additionally you must be able to lift 20lbs or more continuously and be able to stand for long periods of time. This individual will work directly with the supervisor to keep the shift on track. This is a production environment, and is for general labor. This is a full time position that offers benefits including 401K, Health, Dental, LTD and Life insurance after successful completion of 90 days of employment.
