A Single Source Inc Assistant Store Manager will assist in managing a team of employees to maintain inventory, stocking orders, picking orders, procurement, accounts receivables, and shipping/delivery of products. This position is a mix of helping manage others, as well as hands-on work.

Assistant Store Manager Duties:

Assist with pulling, stocking, and organizing the warehouse on a daily basis

Responsible for Inventory control, ordering product, maintaining and help organize schedules of operations associates

Answer Phones, manage invoices, pull pick tickets, check in merchandise, stock shelves

Ensure that (scanning) delivery orders are accurate

Work with the Operations Manager to Improve on operational efficiencies

Assumes the Operations responsibility in absence of Operations Manager, i.e. Receivers, bank deposits, inventory, cycle counts, safety meetings, etc.

Assist with cycle counts, mixing paint in order to effectively meet deliverables

Search for products (special orders) in order to meet customer needs

Follow through with customer requests to ensure accurate processing

Monthly Safety Inspections: Fire Extinguisher, Eye Wash Station, etc.

Help keep warehouse clean and organized, as well delivery vehicles and mobile stores

Cycle counting, spot counting, sales support, delivering orders when needed

Assisting with mobile stores if necessary

Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Assistant Store Manager Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED

2-3 years of previous supervisory and/or managerial experience

1-2 years of experience in a similar type of business

State Issued Driver's License with a clean MVR required

Forklift Operations Certificate/ training required

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

Team player with exceptional customer service skills

Strong organizational, time management, and problem solving skills

Strong computer skills especially with Microsoft office suite and POS systems
