Job Description

The CPA position will be responsible for implementing accounting controls and developing accounting processes to support new and existing areas of the business. In addition, this position will oversee the balance sheet, month end close, tax and audit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Month end close, budgeting and forecasting;

  • Balance sheet reporting and reconciliations;

  • Process Month end journal entries;

  • Payroll processing and reconciliation;

  • Bank account and credit card Reconciliations;

  • Manage Tax reporting;

  • Manage internal and external audits;

  • Support the Accounts Payable (AP) process including approvals and cost centers;

  • Implementation and Improvement of Internal Controls and Corporate Governance; and

  • Support SAP implementation.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of corporate/public accounting experience with focus on accounting and month end activities;

  • Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or CPA candidacy is required;

  • Strong knowledge of inventory/WIP/Cost accounting;

  • Adaptability to new systems, support system implementation of SAP;

  • Working knowledge of Sage 300 (formerly Accpac) and Salesforce a plus; and

  • Strong proficiency with MS Office andanalytics tools.
