I am looking for a responsible art studio assistant for 1 day a week, possibly 2.
You would often be working in a separate room in the studio. Tasks include: cutting intricate designs on large cardboard sheets and taping the cardboard down to form large stencils. This is precision work that requires full attention and ability to work on the ground using x-acto blades to cut the cardboard.
Knowing how to throw wheel thrown ceramics/pottery is a big plus as there would be extra work for that skill. (Also reply to this ad if you are interested in just that role. Specifically looking for someone who can throw big pots.
Pay based on experience, starting pay is $125/day for 8 hours. Room to improve.
