We are currently seeking candidates for a Full-time IT Support / Help Desk position
This position is the first line of defense when it comes to technical support for our clients. Responsibilities include handling end-user desktop support requests including issues relating to their computer and network. Technical staff will be exposed to various sized organizations and technology - from small offices with 10 PCs, to corporate enterprises with hundreds of systems.
Position is primarily based in Niantic office however day travel to client sites throughout region is required. Our employees are given freedom to take ownership of their roles, and are individual contributors to small yet nimble teams.
Responsibilities Include:
Microsoft Windows-based Desktop, Laptop, and Mobile Device Administration and Support(i.e. Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 Support)
General PC Hardware repair/replacement (new PC setups, hard drive and memory upgrades, installing Windows, etc)
Computer Peripheral Support (Printers/Scanners/etc)
Installation and Support of Applications like Office, Adobe Acrobat, Antivirus software, etc
Active Directory Management (i.e. create users, reset passwords, etc)
WiFi Troubleshooting
E-mail Management including Office 365 User Account Management
Mobile Device Support including setting up E-mail Accounts on Mobile Devices
Business Application Support (Client's applications w/Support from vendors)
Backup Management and Support based on Alerting
Clear and Concise Documentation of all Work Performed
Experience Requirements:
All current desktop versions of Microsoft Windows from Windows 10, to 8, and 7
All current Server versions of Microsoft Windows including 2019, 2016, 2012, 2008
Experience configuring Routers, Firewalls, Switches
Fundamental Understanding of Routers/Switches
Understanding of Office365
Understanding of Domain Controllers, Active Directory, Microsoft DNS
OPTIONAL - previous work another MSP or IT Consulting Company
Other Requirements:
Dependability is paramount to this position
Expertise with Microsoft Windows environments
Ability to day travel to and from local locations
Clean Driving Record Driver's License (Required)
Must be OK with running cabling, installing PCs, and lifting heavy servers into racks/cabinets
Flexible working hours that will include on occasion be evening/weekend
Successful completion of Background Tests and Drug Tests
Exceptional and Concise English-Speaking Communication Skills, both Written & Verbal
