Licensed Low Voltage Installer
Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze customer design proposals.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
Evaluating Information to Determine Compliance with Standards Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with codes, regulations, or standards.
Pulling wire
Installing speakers, screens, lights and racks
Understanding rigging and all safety requirements involved
Termination of all field wiring to devices
Able to accurately notate field changes on drawings for incorporation into as-built set
Able to read flow charts and wire diagrams
Strong ability to lead crews of other installers
Successful history working on commercial and residential construction projects with other trades
Able to use and safely operate power tools
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Must have the ability to sit, stand, stoop and bend for extended periods of time
Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and help create, develop and implement project process improvement(s).
Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.
Must possess proven problem solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s).
Must be able to work at heights, off of a ladder and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds.
Must be able to see and distinguish different colors, read small print and hear and recognize audible signals such as dial tones.
Problem solving and trouble-shooting skills; creative thinking.
Interact with employees, customers and colleagues effectively on a professional-level.
Must be able to work well independently or as a team.
PC & Networking proficient (must already know your way around a computer)
Requirements
Must be a Licensed Electrician with current L5 license
High School Diploma or equivalent required
3-5 years on the job experience; Electrical contracting and installation experience and familiarity with Professional Commercial Audio Video installation techniques required.
Experience with any of the following: distributed audio, projectors, screens, displays, wiring, cabling, computer controls, rack-building, programming, Smart Home Installation.
OSHA Certified a plus
Clean driving record with current drivers license
