Disability Resource Network is a 501(c)(3) non profit that works with individuals with developmental disabilities. We are seeking to hire a paraprofessional to accompany a college student to her courses, help set up and attend her tutoring appointments, and work on school assignments during downtime. The paraprofessional would be with the student at all times to ensure her safety and monitor her health. The student attends Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport, CT.
The position is for 16 hours a week for January to May 2019 with potential for increased hours after the semester ends. The position would start and end at the Disability Resource Network location in Bridgeport, CT. A gps tracked company vehicle would be used for all transportation.
To be eligible for the position:
-Ability to pass a criminal and motor vehicle background check
-18 years or older
-Valid driver's license
-Minimum of GED/High School diploma
-Eligible to work in the US
-Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English

The position itself is for Monday 9:30am-1:30pm, Tuesday 9:00am-4:00pm, and Wednesday 9:30pm-1:30pm.
