Busy Gastroenterology office in Waterbury seeks an experience customer service oriented telephone operator to join our practice.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service
- Familiarity with electronic medical records
- Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task are a must
- Experience in healthcare setting preferred
Significant Functions of the Job:
- Answer the phones and triaging phone calls
- Schedule office visits and procedures
- Ensure patient confidentiality
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain professional appearance and personal conduct at all times
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and patients
- Effectively cope with typical job stress
