The Engine Center (EC) Assembly Materials Organization has a rare opportunity for a Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) Internship in Middletown, CT.Key Job Responsibilities Include:
Work on projects in support of assembly floor need, working closely with the on-campus Forward Stocking Location (FSL)and remote warehouses
Utilize Lean principles to establish world-class Materials Flow/Synchronization within the value stream
Expand on current shortage management process
Support efforts to drive cost & lead time reductions.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be a US Citizen
Must be enrolled in an accredited Associate's or Bachelor’s degree program
Pursuing a degree in Business
Must be graduating between: Example: December 2020 to May 2023
You will have at least 30 credits prior to starting your position
You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Preferred Qualifications:
Possess Excellent Judgement and professional maturity
Strong analytical skills
Participate in Process Improvement efforts
Strong desire to succeed and pursue personal growth and developmental opportunities
