Artist wanted for immediate hire for restoration work on historic wood window sashes.
Experience with glazing and painting wood window sashes is ideal, but we are willing to provide training in these skills for the right candidate.
Minimum skills required include the ability to do detailed hand painting and be able to work adequately with the molding and tooling of clay.
Must be conscientious, responsible, organized, and able to work unsupervised for most tasks.
Job is contract based, regular hours, 40 hour work week, with pay rate commensurate with experience and ability. For candidates without prior experience glazing and painting sashes, a training period including a lower starting rate will be mandatory.
