Then the Welcome Center Advisor position is for you! We are seeking a dynamic, team-oriented and caring individual to join our spirited team.

The Welcome Center Advisor will work with potential participants to conduct intake and orientation, assessment and eligibility determination.

Successful Elements:

Coordinate intake, assessment and orientation process

Determine individual customer job readiness needs and employment/training focus

Conduct jobseeker interviews, consult in determining appropriate career pathways and assist with career planning

Assist job seeker in American Job Center registration and enrollment

Provide overview of available job search resources and workshops

Prescreen for program enrollment eligibility and explain program enrollment process and requirements

Counsel, motivate and encourage job seekers in advancing employment, training and retention goals and provide support in resolving issues that may impede successful job placement

Inform jobseeker of services available in partnership with the American Job Center or other community resources and assist with appropriate referrals

Demonstrate, maintain and communicate programmatic policies and procedures

Prepare statistical monitoring and other reports pertaining to intake/assessment flow

Participate in staff meetings and development trainings

Other duties as assigned

Experience and Skills

Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills

Bachelors degree or Associates degree, and three years of work experience in case management/human services or related experience

Bilingual ability a plus

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
