Maintain profitable channel strategies for Bayer products at Trade customer accounts;

Be responsible for the management of trade channel inventory which includes downstream customers such as retail and specialty pharmacies;

Monitor weekly purchasing patterns of wholesalers and all other direct accounts to assure compliance with our Fee for Service Agreements Lead identification and assessment of new and innovative business opportunities to drive profitable short- and long-term customer partnership and institutional sales;

Monitor and communicate customer interactions across channels and functions at "Mega-Accounts”;

Ensure customer insights are collected and shared to create harmonized engagement tactics across the account;

Develop and maintain relationships with Trade Accounts;

Provide input to Medical/HEOR, Brand Teams and BUs, and Legal to build profitable and effective customer strategies and bring appropriate expertise into customer engagement activities;

Enable flow of field-base channel insights to Channel Marketing, Brand Teams and BUs to enable better understanding of managed markets customers, market dynamics and competitive trends that could impact profitable access;

Provide strategic input to AMS to ensure activities and tactics align to and support business objectives across Trade accounts. Support Finance in chargeback disputes, deductions; etc.;

Attend Industry Conferences, Trade Shows, Trade Associations Serve on customer and industry Advisory Boards;

Serve on customer and industry working committees and Advisory Boards Provide insight into all Mega Accounts and Key Account Management activities;

Identify and implement continuous improvement efforts and knowledge sharing initiatives among account teams to emphasize and disseminate best practices. Work with BI and Contract analytics to report on effectiveness of engagement strategy and tactics with Trade accounts. Align with Brand P&L for optimum revenue flow.

WHO YOU AREYour success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree; or at least fifteen years of Trade Account Management experience within Pharmaceutical industry or trade organization;

At least eight years of related work experience in sales and/or account management in Pharmaceutical industry;

At least three years of experience across Trade channel;

Experience within a Retail/distributor organization or the Pharmaceutical industry in Trade Account Management;

Understand the drug wholesaler, distributor and retail segments and be able to interact with multiple customers both external and internal;

Demonstrated ability to achieve business objectives within Trade Channel customers, cross functional, with a focus on profitability meet deadlines and persists in the face of challenges;

Meet departmental and brand expectations inclusive of stretch goals through appropriate resource management, strategic innovative thinking;

Understand the long-term impact based on market dynamics now and in the future, and facilitates strategy, and plan implementation to produce long-term profitable access while meeting short-term key brand performance metrics;

Have strong negotiation capabilities, ability to deliver value despite nominal differentiation;

Develop/deliver partnerships, pushes SOP, champions creative solutions/moves into implementation. Drive Innovation through novel and best in Class approaches;

Enable flow of field-base channel insights to MA;

Marketing & Brand Teams to enable better understanding of managed markets customers, market dynamics and competitive trends that could impact profitable access. In-depth understanding of customer base and organizational impact, Influence brand strategies/decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

M.B.A.;

At least five years of experience in Market Access;

Experience in executing market access strategies for trade accounts, and exposure to contract development and negotiations.
