This individual will conduct inspections to ensure conformance to product specifications and customer requirements on a wide range of products.Responsibilities:Works from work instructions, blueprints, and other specific proceduresPerform inspections as required utilizing conventional layout inspection techniques and equipment.Support receiving, in-process, and final inspectionCreates, completes, and compiles necessary documentation related to Quality Inspection standardsAssist others with inspection techniqueSupport other Quality Department functions as neededWorking hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PMSkills:Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Manufacturing environment or a combination of experience and educationBackground concerning the usage and care of electrical measurement equipment tools and equipment and hand-held gauges including micrometers, calipersAbility to effectively read and understand blueprints, mechanical drawings, inspection manuals and proceduresAttention to detailTime managementKnowledge of dimensional, visual and mechanical inspection processesAbility to pass the inspection eye exam (including a color vision test)Demonstrates communication skillsEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and sit.Position also requires employee to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.Must possess a high level of dexterity in order to perform tasks related to the inspection of small parts as needed.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.The employee will occasionally be required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, as well as stoop, kneel, or crouch.Advance your career and gain valuable quality inspection skills with a growing company!Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
