We treat individuals, ages 12–20, who are experiencing depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, and substance abuse. Restoring Families.®Must be available to work Tuesday through Saturday every other week.Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, the Family Therapist is the primary contact for families assigned on their caseload. The Family Therapist facilitates individual, family and group therapy, including new Parent Orientations and the Saturday Family Program. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Carry a caseload of families designated as the point of contact for the family.

Facilitate individual family and group therapies within the framework of the Newport Academy clinical model and Attachment-Based Family Therapy model.

Facilitate new Parent Orientations

Facilitate the Saturday Family Program, requiring a weekly or bi-monthly Tuesday-Saturday work schedule.

Coordinate Clinical Director program scheduling and coordinating services for the clinical program.

Meet with prospective family members to discuss the clinical family program.

Responsible for the timely completion of clinical documentation

Attend weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision.

Attend meetings, trainings and conferences representing Newport Academy as needed.

Education and Experience:

Minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate school in marriage family therapy, counseling, sociology, or psychology.

Licensed in the state for which you applying as a LMFT, LPC, LCSW or Clinical Psychologist.

Experience in providing family therapy with adolescents and parents, preferably in a residential treatment setting.

Willingness to be trained, supervised and provide services within the framework of Attachment-Based Therapy.

Trained and experience with trauma-informed treatment, preferred.
