The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing various maintenance functions that are necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community. They work with the maintenance team and management to ensure the quality of work meets the standards set by the owner and resident. In this role, you must have working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service including the ability to troubleshoot problems and provide high- caliber of customer service. In addition to having STRONG skills, you will respond to maintenance issues, follow-up with residents and office staff, and handle routine issues for appliances and building upkeep.

Please note, some weekend work and rotating on-call responsibility for after-hour emergencies is required.
Duties and responsibilities include:
-Repair plumbing and electrical issues
-Help oversee and maintain HVAC systems
-Help maintain grounds cleanliness and curb appeal
-On-Call- address all maintenance emergencies in a timely fashion
-Assist with apartment turns
-Maintain tools and equipment
-Treats all tenants with the highest level of concern and care
-Help maintains safe working conditions for employees and residents, resolving safety concerns quickly
-Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality to ensure all essential duties are fulfilled to satisfactory level
-Other duties may be assigned as needed
- Works with the office team and Maintenance Supervisor (i.e., walking apartments, move-in/move-out reports, etc.). Completes work as directed and reports apartments that are ready to show to the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.
Ensures all repairs/replacements are completed as necessary for apartment to be occupied.
Ensures all trash from apartments are cleaned out before, during and after make-ready activity.
