Hi - we are seeking a year-round part-time person to help us out 1 evening per week (probably Wednesdays, but the exact day may be negotiable) from approximately 4:45 PM to approximately 10:45 PM. No special skills or education are needed, although we would need someone who is in good overall health as there is some moderate lifting involved. This person would drive a 16' box truck (no special license needed) from our warehouse in Silverthorne, down to NE-Denver each eveningmaking 2 stops in Denver along the way, and then would unload the truck (which would be around one-third full) at a third stop before switching into a mini-van and heading back uphill. This should be relatively low-stress work (other than driving in the snow). Much of what you unload would be removed by hand truck (dolly) - a process which takes around 30 minutes. DEPENDABILITY and RELIABILITY, and being a safe driver are the most important aspects of the jobas well as being willing to drive in snowy conditions. We will not waste your time or promise you the world or jerk you around - this work can be pretty relaxed and enjoyable if you do not want to stay indoors or be micro-managed, but it REQUIRES someone who is extremely reliable, dependable, and self-reliant. We are a friendly, easy-going small company who won't try to micro-manage you or take advantage of you. What we are after is a sincere, honest, VERY RELIABLE person who wants a little extra work, to help us out. We will be good to you if you will be good to us :-) You will work alone almost completely, but our team is GOOD PEOPLE - if you will give us your best, we will do our best to take care of you as well. It is workbut it is honest, dependable, not-very-hard and it pays decently. It will average around $20 to $25/hour take-home if you choose to work as an 1099 Independent Contractor, which is what most drivers prefer (but we do not require). We plan to be reasonably choosey about who we partner with, as we are seeking someone who is capable, positive, friendly and upbeat, gets along with the rest of the team, and is a permanent local resident.The work REQUIRES you to be in to work On-Time, EVERY time. That is VERY important. If you have a tendency to be sick, call-in, show up late or not show up at all, then you would NOT work out.
