And most of all, can you see yourself there, defining the solutions that will enable these missions in the future?We are seeking an exceptional business development professional to lead Lockheed Martin's Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) business segment as a member of the Military Space Advanced Program Development leadership team. The selected individual will shape our strategies as the segment leader, to include competitive positioning, portfolio growth, and keep-sold activities associated with the GPS program. This business development leader will partner with the GPS program VP to understand continued US Government requirements, engage with a broad set of stakeholders internally and externally, inform DoD decision processes based on analytical conclusions, and shape the Lockheed Martin offer to best meet the mission need. In addition to support for the flagship PNT program, the selected individual will develop and lead new growth opportunities in the PNT mission area both domestically and internationally. As a member of the MilSpace BD leadership and the Advanced Program Development team, this individual will contribute to the prioritization of key opportunities, allocation and management of resources, and management of personnel.Summary of Key Duties for this position: You communicate a keen focus on the national security mission and familiarity with the missile warning / missile defense chain. You foster and maintain customer relationships, and regularly collaborate with them to shape and win new business. You develop a cogent portfolio strategy to build upon Lockheed Martin successes in the mission area; expanding both domestically and internationally. Prioritize resources to achieve most effective path to growth. You manage cross-functional teams efficiently against a variety of simultaneous business activities. Demonstrate thought leadership in the mission domain to both internal and government audiences You lead major capture efforts in excess of $100M, including proposal development, shaping activities, and position-to-win / price-to-win. You lead and/or participate in capture review teams such as Customer Value Propositions, Black Hats, Gold, Pink, and Red Team Reviews. Communicate key growth strategies to senior executive audiences.Basic Qualifications: Extensive experience in business development and capture activities relating to DoD programs, especially military space programs. Detailed knowledge of the PNT mission area, especially the GPS program. Experience leading cross-functional teams on time-sensitive BD activities. Signficant experience engaging executive audiences (industry and government) on critical issues as an honest broker. Strong management and leadership skills, ranging from budget to personnel issues.Desired Skills: Experience in capture and keep-sold activities for programs worth >$1B. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Engagement in international BD.
