Are you excited by space technology?Lockheed Martin Space is looking for an experienced interactive media specialist to produce immersive experiences across multiple platforms to help tell our story to external and internal audiences.In this position you will be responsible for: Collaborating with stakeholders to help shape requirements and produce creative treatments to reflect project vision. Preparing and pitching concepts to clients and leadership. Producing immersive experiences using 3D, animation and augmented/virtual reality from concept through delivery, independently and as part of the team. Developing or modifying CAD models in support of visual storytelling. Partnering with IT to deploy and maintain production environment. Continually exploring and integrating emerging visual communication technology.Basic Qualifications:To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Portfolio reflecting expertise in modeling, texturing and lighting using 3D workflows. 5+ years of experience in native CAD applications (e,g., AutoCAD, Creo, SolidWorks, TurboCAD). 5+ years of experience in tools for design (e.g., Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and 3D modeling and animation (e.g., 3DS Max, Maya Entertainment Suites, Modo, Houdini, Nuke, Unreal) . Experience with interactive and Virtual Reality production process. Exceptional relationship-building, problem-solving and presentation skills. Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment with multiple deadlines. Possess excellent English communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management.Desired Skills:To be successful, ideally, you should also have: Experience in a Fortune 500 company, agency or start up. Familiarity with 360 VR, C, mobile and web development. Strong writing and editing skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries.
