We need a Process Server to cover the Greeley - Loveland & Fort Collins metro and surrounding areas. Experience is preferred, but may train the right person. Pay will be commensurate to experience.
A Process Server will spend time in their car delivering legal documents of varying types such as Summons, Subpoena's, etc. You will be in direct contact with varying people at homes and businesses.
You must pass our background check, no felonies or violent crimes no exceptions.
You must have a reliable vehicle that is insured for you to drive.
Most work will be conducted in the evenings from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on weekends when individuals are at home. Some daytime availability is helpful as well.
A Process Servers hours can count towards you Colorado Private Investigators license in case you are interested in moving into that field as well.
You do not need a license to be a Process Server.
You will be a 1099 Independent Contractor (NOT an employee of Greeley Process Server) You can work for other Process Serve companies if desired. This will be your own business receiving contract work from Greeley Process Server. You will be required to report all earnings to the IRS and have any insurance needed.
You will need the following
- Computer with Internet Access
- Printer (Most serves are 3-25 pages)
- Basic office supplies, staplers, paper clips, etc.
- Reliable vehicle with Proof of Insurance
- Smart Phone with reliable data service (Our software is accessible via mobile devices. You will need to access it when you make attemtps in the field
- Ability to communicate well with others
- Appropriate attire (Business Casual)
You will be compensated for each serve. Generally each serve will need to be attempted at least times. Compensation will be dependent on your experience. You will be required to provide a monthly invoice detailing serves completed for the previous month. We will pay all invoices within 15 days of receipt. We would anticipate you would get 10-20 serves per month however we cannot guarantee any.
