Position : Software Testing Automation ManagerLocation : Fort Collins, COPosition: Software Testing Automation ManagerLocation: Fort Collins, COResponsibilities:
Understanding of architecture components of application like UI layer, API/Middleware and backend/DB layer.
Experience in new age digital architectures based Microservices and API Testing.
Hands on experience in preparing test strategy and plan.
Participation in transitioning of teams to an Agile Methodology
Understanding of User Workflow testing and/or End to End Regression Testing
Define test strategy/test plan for specific application or system architecture
Identify key functional-validation points across the system context and define corresponding test approach and coverage.
Identify non-functional validation needs and define related test approaches.
Document end-to-end business flows and or End User Workflows, as references to create test models and evaluate test coverage.
Define test data requirements and interdependencies across applications.
Ability design, create, model and automate test data for testing and deployment purposes
Ability to articulate story completion and development based on business process flow and/or User Workflow
Experience in validation and interaction with Product Managers and Product Owners regarding validity of business process and/or User Workflow
Identify test environment needs and define the pre-requisites and configuration needs for various phases of testing defined in the strategy/approach.
Identify suitable areas for automation and support in defining automation plan.
Requirements:
Proven understanding of personal velocity for Test Automation work while on a scrum team
Proven understanding of team and individual team member velocity for Test Automation work while on a scrum team
Proven increases to product quality due to test automation application
Experience in working in Agile and Waterfall projects.
Working knowledge of tools like Agile Central (Rally) or Jira, HP ALM
Working knowledge of Infrastructure, cloud and virtualization along with Test data management.
Candidates will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
Must be a Permanent Resident or US Citizen
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or the Sciences (or equivalent) experience.
5+ years in Test Automation and testing tool(s) and solutions.
3+ years working as a Developer, Scrum Master, Product Manager and/or Product Owner role for any agile teams
3+ years proven experience in model-based testing approach
3+ years design, create, model and automate test data for testing and deployment purposes
3+ years proven experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD tools
5+ years managing multiple teams of testers
3+ years of back end development or database management, and/or designing, creating, developing and managing data
