Position : Release ManagerLocation : Fort Collins, COPosition: Release ManagerLocation : Fort Collins, COResponsibilities:

Ownership responsibilities for Release Planning for complex enterprise web applications and integrated systems.

Documents and maintains all artifact versions within version control.

Manage end to end release process.

Schedule and coordinate software releases to end-user environments.

Communicate with internal and external clients on release planning, execution, and status.

Manage all release planning documentation and deliverables, and events needed to support existing software development life cycle governance.

Manage user acceptance testing events and collect client sign off.

Technical responsibility of understanding, documenting and communicating to stakeholders the specific details of the build version of each component of a large integrated system.

Documents and communicates the list of features and changes included within each build to stakeholders.

Update a release repository and manage key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, notification lists, and release windows for all applications.

Schedule pre-release meetings to review deployment plans and validation scripts

Oversee internal and external testers for post validation and user acceptance testing.

Requirements:

Expert knowledge and experience performing the Release Manager function for large-scale, complex, integrated web application systems.

Strong Software Development Management background with technical expertise.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ever-shifting priorities.

Ability to translate technical details to business people.

Organized and detail-oriented.

Ability to verbally communicate to large groups of stakeholders.

The work week generally consists of 40 hours on-site including core office hours, with some after hours and on-call support as needed. Additional hours and after-hours support are required periodically.

Successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of public trust.

Must be a Permanent Resident or US Citizen

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree (Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering)

6 years of relevant work experience; or 14 years of equivalent military and/or civilian experience in lieu of a degree.

10 years of experience managing large, custom enterprise system configurations and test data management across multiple environments in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
