Security Program ManagerA long-standing client of the Doyle Group has a need for an InfoSec Program Manager. The ideal candidate will have a robust program/project management background that sets the foundation for close collaboration with the Information Security team. This individual will be responsible for managing the department's internal programs and projects by liaising with Information Security leadership and will work closely with the Project Management Office and various individuals/teams in IT and Business areas. The Program Manager will also assist with planning and managing the department's annual capital and operational budget.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Responsible for planning and execution of tactical and strategic programs and projects
  • Liaise with company's project managers to provide InfoSec leadership with guidance, reporting and tracking progress, issue resolution and funding status
  • Ability to handle multiple programs and projects at any given time
  • Adoption of existing Program / Project Management best practices, including the proficient use of industry standard tools, technologies, and methodologies
  • Well-organized, detail oriented, has great communication skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Foster a strong work environment that rewards individual and team efforts; encourages creativity while maintaining high caliber productivity and quality.
  • Produce timely and high-quality work products in support of InfoSec initiatives
  • Flexibility and ability to work collaboratively within a matrix, 'virtual' environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work with external vendors
  • Evolve into a subject matter expert who can easily liaise between the InfoSec department and all other business units
Qualifications:
  • 4-year degree (Information Security, Risk Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project management or related functional field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience
  • 7+ years' experience in the role of Technical Program / Project Manager with experience and understanding of enterprise infrastructure capabilities
  • Experience to include one or more of the following: Information Security, Application Development, Agile methodologies
  • Working knowledge in Project planning particularly with Microsoft Project software and PMO governance systems
  • Capital and Operational budget management experience
  • Experience with IT implementations, development and preparation of management status and key metric reports
  • Must possess superior problem-solving skills, be action-oriented and decisive
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure to balance competing priorities in meeting business deadlines
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills
  • Ability to effectively articulate and present complex concepts, ideas and strategies to senior leadership and end-users
  • Self-motivated and able to perform with minimal supervision
  • Have the following characteristics: creativity, drive, high-energy level, motivated, self-initiative
  • PMP Certification a plus
  • CISSP or CISM a plus
  • Previous experience with medium to large projects in Enterprise Infrastructure will be considered an asset
