Eating Primal (eatingprimal.com) is a family owned, healthy, from scratch, meal delivery service with roots in the Paleo Diet. We focus on making healthy food taste great as well as convenient by delivering to our customers twice per week.
We have been in business for 6 years and have just started expansion outside the state of Colorado in San Antonio.
We are looking for someone to grow along with our company here in Denver!
JOB DETAILS
Full-time
$13-$15/hr. to start, depending on experience.
Access to health benefits after 90 days.
JOB SUMMARY
We are currently hiring for a prep cook to assist in day to day meal prep in our Denver commissary kitchen. This persons main responsibility will be executing provided recipes and preparing food items for our weekly changing menu.
This is a hands-on, kitchen production position and this individual should possess a motivated hard working attitude and basic knife skills. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor in an expanding company with a great work/life balance, no weekend nights, and a low stress environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Flexibility - a willingness to wash dishes, clean floors and do any kitchen work as assigned by the chef.
Basic knife and cooking skills.
Ability to adhere/execute provided recipes as many of our clients rely on our nutritional information to be as accurate as possible.
High School Diploma or GED or Culinary Technical Diploma or 1 year experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. regularly
Must be able to stand for 8+ hours a shift
