Will you join us on our journey?For our Denver, CO corporate headquarters we are seeking an Environmental Compliance Engineer II to continue moving our organization to even larger levels of innovation, and technological advancement. Primary point of contact as a technical expert for routine compliance tasks, reports, and questions from facilities.

Monitors compliance task completion via the task management application.

Participates in compliance audits and leads associated corrective and preventative actions.

Manages certain compliance projects that address the needs of the organization and to continually improve performance.

Solves complex problems and identify systematic solutions to prevent similar problems going forward.

Interacts with agency personnel regarding regulations, inspections, projects, etc

Completes the annual SARA 313 and Federal GHG Reports.

Delivers environmental compliance & management systems training for all levels of the company.

Develops regular compliance fact sheets for internal distribution.

Oversees and manages the Company’s myriad environmental compliance obligations through the development of a systematic environmental management systems.

Develops, implements, and manages environmental procedures and policies to ensure proper compliance at all facilities.

Coordinates compliance efforts across the Company with all applicable laws and regulations relating to environmental protection including potable water supply, wastewater treatment, storm water, air emissions, greenhouse gas emissions, Risk Management Planning (RMP) and Process Safety Management (PSM) and EPA related reporting (e.g., EPCRA, hazardous waste, etc.).

Completes monthly environmental compliance updates and other communications as necessary to effectively inform the company.

Implements and verifies Management of Change (MOC) processes to ensure ongoing robust compliance.

Participates in cross-functional teams to ensure the preparation and filing of all federal, state and local environmental reports, filings, permits, licenses, renewals, planning documents and related materials and approvals that are required for the Company’s activities.

Consults appropriate resources (both internal and external) to ensure new and expanded facilities and operations receive the requisite regulatory approvals in a timely manner.

You Have (Mandatory Qualifications):

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field that lends itself well to applying science and policy in a manufacturing setting. Examples include engineering, chemistry, and environmental science.

5+ years in or managing compliance in a manufacturing setting.

Experience with ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems, regulatory compliance programs, federal and state reporting (such as EPCRA, Air Emissions, GHG, hazardous waste, etc.), air and water permitting, air quality calculations, waste water, drinking water, storm water, etc.

Multimedia environmental experience with multiple facilities in multiple states and all levels of government.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

Masters Degree.

Professional environmental certification such as CHMM, CPEA, CEP, REM, or similar.

Environmental consulting experience.
