COApplyDescriptionJob Summary:The Administrative Specialist, Shared Services supports Burroughs initiatives to strive for operational improvement of internal processes, procedures, reporting, licensing, and communication related to managing and expanding the Burroughs service footprint in the gaming industry, client cash claim mitigation support, service provider management assistance and any other defined departmental improvement projects. Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities:
Oversees and manages Field Service Gaming licensing requirements and updates to ensure compliance with gaming regulatory agencies.
Uses discretion and independent judgement while supporting client cash claim investigations in determining final claim disposition, logging and tracking investigative results and interacting with customers in communicating results, as needed.
Interprets, implements, and improves operating procedures as necessary in the Shared Services department.
Oversees and manages assigned initiatives from conception to completion.
Proactively engages and drives participation of key personnel to adhere to defined timelines and complete assigned tasks within the overall initiative.
Assists with Service Provider on-boarding requirements, providing cost/ benefit analysis and vetting potential new Service Provider relationships.
Assists Projects Team with administrative support that may include activities such as following up with technicians to obtain project documentation and scheduling third party resources.
Assists other Operations departments with administrative support that may require following up with technicians, tracking results on a spreadsheet, reporting results to management.
Coordinates hand-off of completed initiatives to appropriate departments and personnel.

Education and Experience:
High School diploma required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience
Previous experience in customer service with an emphasis on business analysis
Experience in data interpretation, cost reduction recommendations and service improvements
