DescriptionIf you're looking to find your place in the accounting field, we're looking for Accountant candidates who create spreadsheets in their sleep. Accountemps has an exciting opportunity for an entry-level Accountant with a highly successful organization. You will be reviewing financial statements with a heavy data entry component in this position. Are you interested in spreadsheet creation and manipulation? Ensuring that accounts contained in the general ledger are correct
Executing alternate duties and partaking in special projects as assigned
Put together monthly journal entries
Assisting with full cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
Investigating and correcting account discrepancies
Facilitating audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits
Enter data
Requirements
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Adeptness in VLOOKUP
Quickbooks Online experience preferred
Comprehension of debits
Practical knowledge of Bank Account Reconciliation
Good understanding of Daily Reconciliation
Previous experience working with Monthly Bank Reconciliation
Background working with cash reconciliations
Comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks
Demonstrated knowledge of Pivot Table
Strong familiarity with QuickBooks Pro
Reconciliations experience highly valued
Microsoft Excel experience highly desired
Bank reconciliations experience highly preferred
Experience with credit
General familiarity with Reconcile Account
Excel Formulas experience
Hands-on experience with Profit Loss
Earlier work involving Credit Card Reconciliation
Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data
Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
An AA or BS/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business suggested
Required: 1 year of accounting experience
High attention to detail
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred
