Essential Job FunctionsSupports Department of Human Services division by providing clerical and administrative support to staff, supervisors, and division manager.

Establishes and maintains databases for tracking of information; inputs, changes, and updates information in databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness; creates and maintains files and folders.

Processes, mails, and files paperwork, documentation, and other pertinent information.

Assists in scheduling training dates, times, and locations.

Creates training calendars; assists with travel arrangements for staff.

Assists in preparing training materials; builds informational binders for new hires.

Responsible for picking up training supplies and delivering supplies to training locations.

Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent education required.

Two (2) years full-time clerical or related experience in an office setting.

Ability to communicate and work effectively with co-workers and the public.

Ability to effectively plan, schedule, and organize. Must possess strong organizational skills.

Proficiency in the use of computer software, such as databases, Adobe, and Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Ability to use standard office equipment including computer, fax machine, copier, and telephone.

Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Must pass conditional post offer background investigation, drug screen, and motor vehicle check.

Licenses/Certificates

Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado Driver's License.

Work ConditionsWork is typically performed in an office environment; some travel required.
