This includes maintaining the Divisional standards, as well as supervision of the staff and logistics of the day to day operations. In this position,the Director will maintain licensing and Colorado Department of Public Health regulations, plan and implement with after-school staff, and track supply needs. The Program Director is responsible to ensure proper record keeping, parental permissions, programgoals, outcome documentation, and health and safety standards. This is a full-time, non-exempt position.Requirements Four-year degree with a major such as recreation, education with a specialty in art, elementary or early childhood education or a subject in the human service field. Submit finger prints, and certifications in First Aid, CPR, Medical Administration, and Universal Precautions. Administer a program to ensure they meet or exceed the legal requirements for staffing, facility, nutrition, safety, etc. regarding Colorado Department of Social Service’s and Colorado Department of Human Services Child Care Licensing rules and regulations. Ensure documentation complies to meet the State of Colorado licensing standards. Adhere to Social Service Guidelines. Report official incidents, recorded and process information with the Corps Officers and Divisional Director. Supervise program site staff and manage daily enrichment activities. Demonstrated success developing, implementing and evaluating innovative programs Communicate professionally with staff and parents. Strong skills managing multifaceted program resulting in measurable successes and program growth. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Able to communicate effectively to both internal and external audiences. Promote, collaborate, and market by attending community gatherings, and establishing relationships with neighborhood schools within your area. Is under the direct supervision of the Corps Officer.
