As a shop hand at Truman Barber Co, a high traffic barbershop in the center of Boulder, your main job will be to manage/run the place.
You will start training at $12/hour and have the opportunity to quickly move up to $15+ per hour. We are flexible, but are generally looking for 20-30 hours per week.
The barbershop is a fun, social, active, and fast paced environment!
Even tho the job is easy and low stress, we assure you will never be bored you will be wearing many hats acting as a receptionist, assistant manager, and shop hand. Banter with the barbers, greet customers, flip records (yes, we have a record player), manage the barbers, and keep the barbershop in order. That's pretty much it!
You need to be a high energy, extravert that enjoys people, conversation, always being on your feet in a high paced environment.
Need to be polite, well mannered, enjoy making people happy, and good at multitasking.
