We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic full-time paralegal. We are a small, but growing plaintiff's civil litigation law firm representing people who have been injured or harmed. We are looking for someone who has experience in civil litigation and is familiar with the Colorado rules.
Candidates for this position must have a positive attitude, the desire to help people, good communication and listening skills, the ability to handle the stress of a busy litigation law firm, attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a professional demeanor.
Job Responsibilities include:
Calculating and calendaring deadlines
Scheduling depositions and trial
Drafting of litigation documents
Ability to generate medical billing summaries
Working closely with clients
Utilization of case management software
Working on discovery and disclosures
Reviewing of medical records and other documents
Drafting settlement demand packages
Filing pleadings and documents with court e-filing systems
Preparing trial notebooks and exhibits
Assisting in trial as needed
Proofreading documents
Working with experts
