We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to become a part of our team! You will be responsible for managing HR activities for the organization.

Prefer local candidate that lives near our office location

Responsibilities:

Responsible for delivering core HR services, including employee relations, compensation and benefits, recruiting and staffing (job approval and guidance), employee development, performance management and adherence to employment laws. Acts as a liaison and advisor to upper management. Position also oversees and manages functions and programs such as job descriptions, development, and employee recognition.

Responsibilities:

Recommend, amend and drive improvement to human resources systems, policies and processes by continuing to stay abreast of the marketplace to identify and leverage best practices/trends to influence the business and HR agenda

Work actively with various third parties to ensure compliance with all elements of benefits, insurance and company HR related requirements

Supports the company’s future growth and ensures employees receive training and development opportunities.

Maintains all employee files in compliance with the Company. Works with management to motivate employees and identifies organizational performance improvements, guidelines and local regulations

Provides coaching and counseling on issues related to employee relations; including providing guidance around fair and legal resolutions, preparation of corrective action documents, performance management, investigations, and terminations

Monitors work related injuries as well as fleet accidents

Updates Company Handbook

Conducts interview guidelines

Willingness to assist in various departments when needed

Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of employment laws and governmental regulations

Decision making skills

Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and ability to interact at all levels

Highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills

Prior HR experience preferred

Ability to organize workload for effective implementation

Self-starter to immediately improve onboarding processes

Reports directly to the CFO
