Laughlin and Spence is a small, busy firm looking to hire a full-time CAD operator to assist the engineers in producing plans which include single family units, multi-family units, commercial, agricultural, governmental, civil, survey and septic designs.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
Design and draft architectural, civil and structural plans at the direction of the project engineer
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, Revit is a plus
Ability to read architectural, civil and structural plans
Able to take direction and work independently
Able to work within an established drafting system to produce consistent results
Able to work on multiple projects at various stages of completion
Prefer junior college drafting courses or tech school
Construction/surveying experience is a plus
Willing to train the right candidate
