A well established Property Management company is looking for someone with these characteristics and more to join our Corporate Accounting Team in Yuba City. The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with some overtime as needed.
The best qualified candidates will possess:
BS in Accounting (or AS in Accounting with 2 years recent Accounting experience)
Skills and abilities to perform a variety of bookkeeping and accounting functions
Skills and ability to reconcile all balance sheet accounts, bank reconciliations, month-end journal entries, and budgeting
Responsibility for performing effective research to resolve accounting discrepancies and documentation problem; Make recommendations for appropriate actions to resolve discrepancies
A thorough understanding of the General Ledger system, balance sheet and income statement accounts, as necessary, to discuss reporting of results to management
General knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and bookkeeping programs
Keeps management informed of area activities and any significant problems
Ability to complete special projects and miscellaneous projects as required
Maintain high level of confidentiality
Experience with Appfolio software desired
