Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules & regulations.
Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions
Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments
Operate filling line 1 so that all operations (stations) are operating within the specifications outline in the corporate manufacturing specification book
Operate filling line 2 and 3 so that all operations (stations) are operating within the specifications outline in the corporate manufacturing specification book
Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance
Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing production needs
This position is also required to follow food safety policy, GMP and the companys cleaning and sanitation policy
Requirements: Must have at least 3 years of mechanical experience. Must have at least 2 years of experience in a production environment. Bilingual is helpful but not necessary.
