Primary Responsibilities
This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, and employment law compliance.
Immediate Supervisor-Director of Human Resources
Essential Job Functions
1. Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel;
assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
2. Oversee the preparation and maintenance of all personnel files; ensure confidentiality of all
personnel records.
3. Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the
database.
4. Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefit laws and
regulations.
5. Management of leaves of absence, including FMLA/CFRA, ADA, PFL, etc.
6. Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, and
communicating benefit information to employees.
7. Handles employee relations counseling, separation counseling and exit interviewing.
8. Perform related duties and responsibilities necessary to fulfill the mission.
Job Specifications
1. Five years of HR experience in a Generalist role.
2. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
4. Ability to analyze facts and information and draw accurate conclusions.
5. Reliable transportations, valid drivers license and auto insurance.
6. Strong interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to maintain confidentiality of privileged information.
