ACCOUNTANT/BOOKKEEPER- FULL CHARGE
We are a 40 year old boutique Real Estate Investment, Management and Development Company, based in Ventura CA. We are looking for someone with Real Estate Bookkeeping experience who wants a long-term relationship and opportunity for personal and professional growth. Applicant must be experienced, bright, and loyal, have strong communication skills and a tireless, strong moral character.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
Maintain complete books for multiple companies and property investments
Reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards
Accounts Payable and Receivable
Work with Property Manager to prepare monthly and annual reports
Create property proformas
Create monthly, quarterly and annual budgets
Track/allocate construction and development expense
Property purchase and sale expense allocation
Prepare financial packages for financing
Negotiate with vendors and track vendor payments
CAM reconciliations and annual statements
Flexibility and willingness to manage other tasks, projects, and the office
Qualifications:
Degree in accounting/finance or bookkeeping
Experience in Real Estate accounting and NNN Leases
Proficient in Rent Manager and/or QuickBooks
Excel- Expert Level
Capable of drafting comprehensive, professional correspondence
Must be uncommonly organized
