Global Mobility & Immigration Program Manager

Job Description

  • This role will join the People Operations team, ensuring we are delivering a best-in-class experience for employees that also supports our culture and mission

  • Develop and manage a scalable global mobility lifecycle process

  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, Legal, Finance, Benefits, HR Business Partner and other stakeholders to optimize mobility processes

  • Develop and execute tax equalization and international assignment policies in partnership with Payroll, Legal, and Tax

  • Manage the relationship with our immigration firms and external vendors

  • Initiate and track domestic and international transfers, relocations, and temporary assignments

  • Manage U.S. and global immigration lifecycles; act as primary resource for employees and managers on all aspects of immigration, including visa, work permits, and permanent resident processes and timelines

  • Assist immigration counsel with initiation and preparation of work permit applications and non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions

  • Track and proactively communicate updates on work authorization status, immigration changes, etc. with internal stakeholders

  • Make strategic recommendations for program improvements (e.g., policies, workflows, budgets, etc.) based on market data and internal feedback

  • Coordinate immigration trainings and update stakeholders on immigration policy changes

Qualifications

  • Subject matter expertise in core global mobility areas (e.g., immigration, international tax, relocation, vendor management)

  • 3+ years experience in global mobility and 5+ years experience in immigration

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Nimble mindset and able to thrive in a dynamic environment

  • Global Mobility Certification preferred

  • Strong collaboration and customer service skills a must

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Manages ambiguity well

  • Experience in high growth startups is a plus

  • Flexible and a sense of humor
