We employ over 12,000 people across manufacturing facilities in Asia, Europe, North America, with regional bases in India and the Middle East.Job DesignationThe Production Manager effectively leads and develops the Manufacturing Operations Team to obtain optimum productivity while reaching strategic goals. Manages manufacturing and operations processes to ensure sufficient quantities of quality product on time and on budget in order to meet marketplace demand.Job Core Responsibilities Initiates plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.

Ensures attainment of business objectives and production schedules while ensuring product standards that meet or exceed the customer’s expectations.

Sets, maintains, and achieves all-encompassing manufacturing budget including consumables and majors projects.

Recommend cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards.

Leads the Manufacturing Operations Team in achieving tasks, schedules, and goals.

Develops a world-class operations organization in OEM and repair and overhaul (OHR) by providing training, coaching and counseling, and top grading as appropriate.

Manages crisis resolution to ensure continuous flow of operations under budget.

Confirms that resources are utilized effectively and drives improvements.

Ensures general safety, compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and company requirements with an ultimate goal of zero accidents.

Leads and directs work for team of employees as defined by business needs.

Manages staff selection, performance, development, and training processes to ensure team competencies and capabilities to reach the business goals and expectations.

Other responsibilities as assigned.Job SpecificationsEducation: Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations

Years' Experience: 7 - 10 years of relevant experience

Skills:

Experience with and advanced training in Lean manufacturing concepts and techniques

Solid analytical skills and judgment to proactively identify and solve increasingly complex problems

Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize with changing situations

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Computer proficient, including Microsoft Windows software applications and high proficiency with SAP

Proven experience in driving a safety culture and incremental improvements

Certifications in APICS or demonstration on improvements of inventory RM, WIP, FG, SVG areasThis position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
