Job Overview: This position is under the direct supervision of the Field Supervisor and is responsible for the protection, safeguarding, and security of assets, personnel, customers, and all visitors.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform security patrols on foot.
Protect properties from theft, sabotage, fire, acts of terrorism, and accidents.
Investigates and writes reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards, equipment damage, presence of unauthorized persons, theft, and other security-related situations.
Provides any needed assistance to customers, employees, and visitors.
Ensure a safe environment.
Provides clear and concise communication and is responsive in all situations.
Qualifications:
Minimum 21 years of age.
GED or qualifying high school diploma
We adhere to a drug and alcohol-free environment
Ability to pass background check without felony charges (misdemeanor charges acceptable within reason)
Having exceptional stress management skills.
Good customer service.
Ability to carry out instructions.
Flexibility is mandatory as the hours vary from site to site.
Must be able to operate a handheld radio, cell phone, or other communication devices.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and endure all weather conditions.
Have good written and verbal skills. Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
Must be able to work nights AND weekends
