Summary: The mission of the Facebook Risk and Payments team is to enable anyone, anywhere to be able to pay and be paid with confidence. This can mean different things across our many payments products - from providing support to advertisers who need help paying their bill, helping charities onboard to receive donations, to identifying and resolving fraudulent transactions. Within the Risk and Payments team, Tech Ops is responsible for the technical implementation of our risk strategy and management. This team works closely with our engineering teams to enable new products and scale existing infrastructure.Required Skills:
Deliver robust, scalable technical solutions for payments products
Become an expert in our operational products
Provide technical consultancy to our stakeholder and product teams
Solve technical, operational and escalation issues, delivering the highest level of satisfaction
Partner with Data Science, Product, Engineering and Operations teams to solve problems at scale
Deliver data-driven, impactful results
Minimum Qualifications:
Hands-on experience developing technical solutions
Experience manipulating large data sets in SQL or equivalent, and drawing actionable insights from data
Experience with at least one scripting language (for example PHP, Python, Perl, Haskell)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field
