DescriptionAccountemps is seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join a team of highly skilled professionals in a stimulating work environment. Attending to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department, this role works closely with and reports to the Accounting Manager. The main responsibilities will include matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners
Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis
Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
Complete full-cycle A/P
Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies
Requirements
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Detailed and have the ability work independently
Accounts payable experience
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Numeric 8,001 - 10,000 KPH experience preferred
