Our client, a pioneer research-driven biotechnology company, is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for a 3 month temporary position with the opportunity for an extension. Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Analyst to optimize financial models in Excel, build out the database and run financials scenarios to support strategy discussions and financial planning. This role will interact with teams in supply chain, manufacturing and financial leaders.
Design and develop financials models, conduct benchmarking and analytics on supply chain manufacturing capacity and product costs
Identify trends, provide financial insights to senior leaders and recommend actions based on sound data and analysis
Consolidate data from multiple sources and collaborate with cross-functional teams to analysis outcomes from strategy scenarios
Collaborate with manufacturing sites on model design, financial assumptions and outcomes generated from analysis
Drive process improvements to increase the value and speed of decision making arising from the use of the financial model
Requires a BS degree in Finance, Economics or related field, MBA a plus. Must have strong collaboration skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams within finance and the business. Must have advanced Excel skills and working experience building and maintaining financial models. Must be proficient in financial software applications, to include ERPs, planning applications and financial databases (SAP & Cognos TM1 a plus). This position will need to have outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills with ability to analyze large data sets and distill the analytics into actionable items for senior and executive leaders. Must have experience with financial forecasting, diagnosis, and information analysis.
