Assists in the development and implementation of strategies to maintain inventory distribution and achieve cost objectives
Manager vendors and 3PL service providers
Managed and audit pre shipment inspections
Provide in-depth analysis of data to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction
Works extensively with system data to form trends and patterns and troubleshoots with management to identify process and control improvements
Oversees the shipping and distribution of products to and from warehouses and various vendor distribution facilities; Works closely with vendors to monitor shipping rates and terms, ensures the timely delivery of goods, and collects all documentation (invoice, packing slips, etc.)
Prepares reports to post and track the development and improvement of metrics and area activities; Analyze, maintain, and enhance reorder reports, critical control reports, stock-out reports, distribution reports, inactive stock reports, and other various reports
Supports efforts with other departments to identify needs, prioritize initiatives, and develop solutions that improve the ability to manage fulfillment operations
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Fulfillment monitoring
Escalation management
Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary
Ability to travel
Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or Engineering
5 years of progressive experience in operations, inventory management, distribution, logistics or similar with emphasis on business systems, analysis, program management
Experience managing SKU's rich environment (3,000 )

Fasteners
Machined Parts
Die Casting
Plastic Injection
China Sourcing Experience
Past ERP System Implementation Experience
Experience with Microsoft Navision
Experience managing vendors and 3PL
Needs extensive experience with Excel (Test Required):
Data Structure
Pivots
Measures
Operations management experience
Knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles
Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions and emails
Plus:
3 years of experience in Warehousing Operations
Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions at a self-management level
Experience with CAD Software
Preferred Lean implementation experience
Read/Write/ Speak Mandarin is a plus
Experience using SQL
