Job Description
Reporting to the Report Manager and serving as a member of the Research & Development team, this position's primary responsibility is entry and curation of field research data, as well as generating reports with appropriate statistics, figures, and interpretation.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assist with data entry into specialized software (ARM).
· Curation of digital files, maps, site descriptions, and weather.
· Interact with field technicians and biologists for data interpretation and summation.
· Support reporting team in creating charts and graphs for report statistics, using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
· Collecting weather data from field sites locally
· Other duties as needed (i.e. redundancies for office tasks like filing).
Qualifications:
· Team player, flexible and able to multi-task
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· College coursework in life science and/or ag science, familiarity with statistics
· Excellent computer skills and proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with ARM (Gylling Data Management) or statistical software (JMP, SAS) a plus
· A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
· Valid drivers license
· Self-directed and open to performance evaluations
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00 to $19.00 /hour
