Paso Robles winery is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team immediately.
This is a full time, temp-to-hire opportunity
Job duties include:
- Creating, updating and maintaining job descriptions and the company organizational chart
- Recruitment, background and reference checking
- Orientation and Onboarding of new employees
- Staff training, safety and development
- Compensation and benefits administration
- Maintain HRIS database and processes changes timely
- Employee relations, worker's compensation and performance reviews
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations
- Other HR projects and support as needed
Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree or relevant experience
- 3-5 years of general business experience, Human Resources experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of employment laws and practices
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong skills in MS Office and database management
- Previous experience in administration of benefits and other HR programs
